Natural treatment - I want to start saw palmetto but I am too scared. I just jumped off Finasteride after 1 year because it caused me inflammation and sebum on the scalp. Almost depression too.
I am trying to change my lifestyle without sugar and too much gluten. I am eaten healthy and work out too. (Just shaved my head, there is picture^^)
I am thinking about eating one garlic every day to keep my health up.

Besides that diabetes runs in my fathers family. (My grandfather did not go bald nor did his brother). But my father and two uncles did. My other uncles did not go bald. The thing is that my uncles have been diagnosed with diabetes like my grandmother, I was thinking if that could cause male pattern baldness?
besides my dad started smoking and hard drinking in his teens.
Am I doomed to male pattern baldness or just high temples (mature hairline)
I dont know man, but as of right now your hair looks good buzzed. Your family history seems to be 50/50 so it could go either way. Start saw palmetto, and if things start going bad drop it, you will need at least one treatment thats not nizoral to have a shot at fighting male pattern baldness

btw what is your email? I am thinking about having you as a mentor?
Could saw palmetto cause me further hair loss?
Besides no one in my mothers family has male pattern baldness, legit no one.
Do I only inherit my hair genes from one of the parents or both?
My mother keeps saying, that shedding is normal in our family because our hair is thick and grow very fast.
But I have seen some small and tiny hairs because of finasteride. That sh*t made thing worse for me.

Btw my older brother has thick hair too. This last year I worked out every single day and gained a lot of muscle weights. Could that trigger a huge shedding phase or something?

I doubt it, unless you were using steroids. Beware though, working out = increased testosterone and that = more DHT which means more hair loss.

You have male pattern baldness period. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it looks like you're taking after your father. It's not stress, it's not diabetes, it's not smoking and it's not alcohol. It's male pattern baldness pal.. the sooner you learn to accept it the better. Don't stay in this denial phase where you look for alternate answers and solutions to your problem. Because in your case there's only one for now and that is finasteride.

I tried finasteride and it caused me more hairloss and acne on one of my cheek?
and btw how can you for sure say that I have male pattern baldness? Maybe it is very high temples that were meant to be and mature hairline? Look at the hairline of mine when I was younger. I had the s section and it look liked I was receding as a kid?

just wondering pal
and if finasteride would work for me the next 10 years no doubt I would jump on it but if i am not 100% sure i wont take the risik

The hairloss from weight training is a myth and retarded. Weight training increases your test levels slightly for a short period of time i.e. Not enough time to make a difference. Just don't take steroids that will f*** your sh*t up, srs. Legit wouldn't be on this site if I never did steroids, also wouldn't build like a fackin Greek god either. Life is about balance my son.

More bullshit from the dumbest f****r on the forum. It definitely increases DHT.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3040039/

"A yearlong, moderate-intensity aerobic exercise program increased DHT and SHBG, but it had no effect on other androgens in middle-aged to older men."

"Both DHT and SHBG increased 14% in exercisers at 3 months, and at 12 months they remained 9% above baseline."

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00421-006-0319-1

"there was a statistically significant 40% increase in RESTING testosterone, "

Why can it be that some bodybuilder work out every single day and push limits but don't lose hair? :)

They are not genetically disposed to balding (like half the population) or like a lot of them I know, they're on duta or finasteride.

Finasteride + nizoral will stop it for probably a decade or more for 90% of people, if not then add oral minoxidil or go to dutasteride instead of finasteride.

I just use 0.25mg fina and nizoral 2% twice a week.

Yup helmet head, once again I will say, there's nothing worse than a stupid person that doesn't know they're stupid. That first study is on AROBIC EXCERCISE. I clearly said "weight training". The second study you posting is pretty much irrelevant.

I clearly said "weight training increases your test levels slightly for a short period of time I.e not enough time to make a difference." Now instead of scramming through google trying to prove me wrong when, once again, you're dumb ugly *** is showing ignorance.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/1765061/
"The mean testosterone concentration increased 27% (P less than 0.02) and 37% (P less than 0.02) during the strength and endurance training session, respectively. Two hours after the training sessions the mean testosterone concentration had returned to the pre-training level and remained at that level for the length of the observation period. There were no significant differences in the changes in testosterone concentration after strength and endurance training"

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/8107546/

"There was a significant increase in serum testosterone concentrations following the fourth set for both MWL and LWL when compared with baseline concentrations and both MWL and LWL testosterone concentrations returned to baseline levels at 10 min postexercise"

Damn jean I'm really getting tired of just shitting on your life every time we cross paths but it's just too easy. You're way too goofy and pathetic not to.

Dies m shaoe Always lead to baldness or male pattern baldness?
No finasteride won't hold your hair if you have aggressive male pattern baldness like jean does. He just tries to find ways to justify why he got a hair transplant on a Norwood 4 at the age of 23. He's scared to look like a freak in 5 years, which he will. If it held hair for over a decade there would be no celebrities that advance their hair loss. Look at how many celebrities lose their hair in 5-10 years then get a shitty hair transplant. They clearly care about their hair, they were clearly on finasteride, it just doesn't hold. It holds the hair of nonaggressve male pattern baldness( but even then rarely stops it completely. Jean is a ugly *** fraud lol.
