Anyone else experience excessive shedding after using Nizoral/Ketoconazole 2% ?

Hey all, I've noticed that whenever I use Nizoral shampoo I shed significantly more for weeks, like 3x the amount of hair in the shower. I rarely use Nizoral (maybe once every 2 or 3 months) and without fail my hair begins a heavy shedding for weeks after use. Has anyone else experienced this?

I quit using keto shampoos because it fries my hair. Dry and brittle. The one from minoxidill express was alot better on my hair than nizoral. It has gentle ingredients and didnt dry out my hair as much. If nizoral causes shedding and you use it rarely then why keep using it?

Why do I keep using it? Great question. I sometimes headcase about scalp inflammation and itching so thats why. Ive never really had any scalp issues before so I dont think I will use it again going forward unless I really have to.

Gotta kill those mites on your scalp mate. The itching could be from them. Gotta keep the mites colony under controll. They love twinks like you too much.

Mine have gotten under the skin, I can feel them wriggling around!

You are correct. These mites can be troublesome. But thanks to you my mites infestation is history.

Yes I think we should. He must be a cute twink because otherwise those damn demodex mites wouldnt like him that much.

You can use a conditioner after shampooing, being careful to prevent it from contact with the scalp. I use Nioxin 2 conditioner for progressed hair loss.
