I am 28, shed a lot the last 2 years I noticed but still have thick hair, been experimenting with minoxidil since 26. I used it almost everyday twice a day for a year but give or take 2 months of days I got lazy etc. I went the last 6 or 7 months without it because I thought maybe I'm wasting money but started again out of fear haha. I noticed it isn't as low as it was when I was say 19 but it was always higher at my left side than right. I am trying to figure out if I am even on the norwood scale yet as I have no diffusing at the crown and from the top it looks pretty strait. I want to bring my hairline down because it's gone up enough to where my forehead looks bigger than it did before and throws off my facial framing. I am a decently handsome guy but noticed over the last 2 years or so the female attention isn't as intense as it was. I have a 36 yr old brother with square corners and 60 yr old father with square corners, I'd say they are both NW1 or NW2 at most. I wanted to get hair transplants to thicken up the front and lower it a bit, maybe .5 inc,h if that. Is it doable? Would a DR even bother? I started taking finasteride yesterday and plan to maintain it as well as minoxidil but I am pretty sure I'm keeping what I have.
