So I'm at the 6 month mark, paid a visit to my hair restoration clinic to have some of those super magnified images of my hair taken. They liked what they saw, many of the fine hairs have gotten thicker, and some of the clogging of the pours has opened up.
At about the 5 month mark, just a little bit before that, I started shedding :hmmm: I gotta tell you, it's a bit demoralizing. The one thing that kept me in comfort is that all the hairs that have been shedding are pretty small and pretty fine. I'm not 100% sure bit I take that as a good thing...maybe someone can clarify that for me? I definitely don't see any full grown, healthy hairs being shed. I hope all the fine ones that are falling out will be replaced.
But I'm definitely still pluggin' along. Still on the propecia, still on the rogaine and the other supplements. The laser comb I've been a bit inconsistent with simply because it's summer, and I leave the house A LOT and someone those 15 minutes I need to use the comb in can get lost in the shuffle. But I promised myself I'll go back to being consistent with it again.
To answer the questions about the comb, I honestly don't know how much of my success can be attributed to it. But hey, I have been shedding since I've been on and off with it, so take that for what it is! It is pretty expensive to be honest, but when I first started the hair loss treatment I really wanted to try everything possible all at once.
