Number of androgen receptors in balding scalp vs non-balding

Hi all, not wanting to beat the dead horse or anything but the whole "pattern of hair loss is due to frontal areas going first because the derma contains a higher number of androgen receptors" hasn't actually been scientifically proven anywhere I can find...

Hypothyroidism, reverse T3 dominance, no hairloss for the passed year

Obviously I've seen both of these guys work but it has barely being spoken about on this forum and nothing has been said on reverse t3 if people treat their hypothyroidism with T4 it may enhance the problem I believe I have low grade Wilson's disease which led to my hairloss I had original...

Hypothyroidism, reverse T3 dominance, no hairloss for the passed year

Hi guys I've been dealing with hairloss for the past 6 years and have finally made some head way I haven't seen a single other post on this before And seeing how hard it was for me to get a script for T3 (thyroid function problems usually are prescribed T4 or T4 and low does T3 on a ratio of...

I Am Actually Regrowing My Hair + Hairline Without Min Or finasteride (mechanical Stimulation)

If those photos are 1.5 years apart and you've been on finasteride for 1.5 years why do you attribute the regrowth to massaging?

My Story Of Fighting Hairloss (19 To Early 20s)

Yes it's very frustrating how everyone reacts differently to treatments. I currently use a mixture of emu oil and other essential oils as well and collagen eye masks and they're helping. Washing my face 15 minutes after applying min has also helped

My Story Of Fighting Hairloss (19 To Early 20s)

Yeah it honestly did. Nah they're still there unfortunately and probably getting worse so I am considering dropping min. If you're considering start min then just be weary that it is a side effect. My face feels numb when i put it on and the area under my eyes stays numb for quite some time so...

My Story Of Fighting Hairloss (19 To Early 20s)

Hopefully my story can shred some light on the options for dealing with hairloss. So my hair started falling out basically on my 19th birthday due to personal stresses (i think), losing a f*ck load a day. For probably the first 3 months i thought it was diet/life style related and would stop...

Start Hairloss Treatment Now, Don't At All, Or Wait??

Your hair is completely fine and if you're rate of loss is slow then definitely DO NOT start any of the treatments. The finasteride sides are real and so are the minoxidil ones, plus when you start min you can't stop and it's such a hassle and is not guaranteed to work. so yeah, let it take its course

Insulin Growth Factors In Dp Cells In Balding Vs Non-balding

They only applied it for <40 days and then stopped the application. Using any 'proven' hairloss treatment for that amount of time will also produce no results. The chose the 40 day period based on rats response.

Insulin Growth Factors In Dp Cells In Balding Vs Non-balding

Sorry if this specific study has been posted before but I just found it and thought it was pretty crazy. https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/exd.12339 Increasing IGF‐1, IGFBP‐4 and IGFBP‐6 could produce positive results? Now I have seen studies that say "high IGF-1 is linked to...
