Any chance you have a before/after? I feel like I’m in a similar position and would be interested to see what 2300 grafts did.
Did you go to Rahal as well?
I’m not sure I’ve had an nw1 hairline since 8th grade. It’s not that ideally I wouldn’t want one as much as I’m more than content at nw2 at my age and it allows me to be conservative in case I have a lot of loss later.
@DoctorHouse were you looking to go to nw1 at 1800 hairs or would that just...
Were you trying to get to a nw1? I’ve never had had much better than an nw2. I would consider myself an nw3 ish now so it hasn’t gotten much worse over the past 15 years.
The only reservation I have with turkey is I don’t think they are super conservative. They’ll dense pack you to a nw1 at 18...
I don’t need to be an NW1 by any means but I would like to have a sense enough NW2 hairline that I can style.
that going to take 2000 grafts or would 1500 be enough? I’d like to be conservative to address future loss but I also don’t want to go in and drop $15-20k and still have a thin...
I think it’s clear what is being suggested. If you can wait then there may be hope. Try to bridge it with needling, minoxidil, and finasteride. If you can’t then don’t. This may save how many grafts you need substantially but everyone is in a different position.
I think @pegasus2 has helpful insight and...
Ok wait so the guy who created a fake account and was too afraid to input his real birthdate is asking another man to send him a picture of himself. This same individual asking another man for his picture is accusing the man of potentially being gay?
Yeah I’ll stick to the discord group as...
Right if there isn’t something to bridge your current condition then this becomes your solution. In following gene editing with the virus vector that they use to CRISPR it’s clear that there are some real risks involved that potentially could come up potentially 10 years after use. For hair loss...
I will say this…. My son has severe hemophilia and CRISPR has been mentioned as a potential solution as they continue to test. I won’t touch gene editing for at least another 15 years. It sounds like a miracle but there are a lot of unknown risks for the time being.
In instances like this what would prevent vellus hairs grown through derma rolling from benefiting and helping someone get back to a full head?
I know this has been asked but I didn’t really notice how it was addressed... Still too many unknowns to know I’m sure.
