It has been quite the time since I posted! Here are some updated pics, I just got a refill for another year of finasteride and was reminded of here. My hair is obviously longer which makes it look better. Also, I didn't shower and had minoxidil in my hair right before I took these pics, so it's a mess...

Update: A bit over 9 months in, hair def isn't worse than when I started. Again, still feels about the same as last update lol. Started using kirkland minoxidil 2x a day instead of rogaine once a day. Will see if results get better.

Another update: Basically the same as my post back in June. I'm thinking of going back to minoxidil twice a day a I have found out the Walmart brand is cheap!

No sides, libido is still the same (good), as far as progress, it seems different every week lol. Sometimes I think it's thickening, other weeks I think I'm losing more hair...:p Only time will tell with me I guess!

I'm kind of in the same boat as you; Essentially, I didn't add finasteride until I was barely over the 2 year mark using rogaine. After 1 year of rogaine, I went to using just once a day rogaine due to side effects, and slowly lost hair (I'm not sure if using twice a day would have done much better...

Here are some updated pics...these make results look improved,but I look worse varying days...lol

If anything, I might be barely worse...but I am going to stick through it for at least 1.5 years. Being a diffuse thinner sucks balls.

Update: I finished just over 5 months, still not any real progress aside from shedding...:(

Your hair looks like it got worse after the year mark. Perhaps a shed?

Your hair isn't drastically better, but it wasn't too bad to begin with either. Bottom line, it's a great success, and here's to hoping you keep that for years
