i agree with the others. Keep an eye on it and be open to taking Finasteride and / or Minoxidil in the future. Also be sure to keep your scalp healthy or you could end up with a bad case of sebderm, which could really shed ypou hair badly

I at least hope this is sebderm. Been experiencing a very aggressive shed along with mild dandruff and pain on my scalp. I am currently doing a honey treatment, but I've messed up a few times that may have impacted progress, I could be wrong, but I'm assuming the process needs to start over...

Like the guy in the other thread,my hair is shedding p badly,and I've only been taking finasteride and rogaine for slightly over five months. Do you know if it Is it normal to shed severely after you've had good results, or is this a sign finasteride has stopped working for me? Thanks for the help

Then I'm confused why I'm getting such a massive shed right now. It feels like i am going back to where i started. Is this normal? Could my finasteride/minoxidil combo not be working anymore?

** FINASTERIDE, not propecia. My bad** I got a little lazy when getting my refill for finasteride. I believe I only went a few days without finasteride but my hair seems to have already reacted, and not in the best way! Had good results before, a good head of hair, and this was after 6 months...

yah, that's a good idea/ sorry if i sounded mean, you look fine. I just get frustrated when folks are dishonest about these things. it's very common on this site

i agree that your hair is receding (although i think it looks fine. I'd hold off on jumping drugs yet, but when you get around to it, finasteride and rogaine are what you want to use to combat your recession

double check with a derm as well, don't jump on finasteride without doctor approval! I'm just some dork on the internet

people are lying to you dude. NW2 easy. You aren't asking if you look 'fine', you're asking for hairloss assessment, and it appears you are at NW2 not to scare you or anything, but jump on finasteride and rogaine as soon as you can. Hims makes getting ahold of finasteride convenient imo

i highly doubt you had a nw2.5 at the age of 12. If you did that sucks, but that sounds highly improbable either way, if OP wants to keep his hair, there's no harm in asking a derm for advice. he knows his hair better then we do, and his dermatologist will be an expert unlike us
