    I also think herbals won't do much, specially Saw Palmetto. Go for Propecia buddy, it's the best you can do if you want to maintain. Side effects, as was said, are RARE. Don't be paranoid about it and you'll be cool. :wink:

    This (2005) pilot study showed that Azelaic Acid was effective for treating Alopecia Areata (in vivo then). I don't know much about Alopecia Areata but if Az-Acid did that by blocking DHT or simply stimulating hair growth, then we have something.. Comparison of azelaic acid and anthralin...

    If the topical flutamide your planning to use is so powerful to the point that it gets systemic absorbed and cause feminizing side-effects, isn't that an indication that any Testosterone/DHT that was trying to screw your hair follicle eventually was beaten up to death by flutamide? 8) I guess...

    If dutasteride stays a bit longer in the body, is it okay if I take it every other day? Because it's expensive for me, so if 1 box could last for 2 months, it would be very nice.

    well, dutasteride not only stays longer in the body, but it's more powerful, and blocks both types of 5AR..

    Dude, I've already read serious studies (I think it was here in the forum, more than a year ago) showing a strong correlation between insulin disorders and male pattern baldness, and also prostate hyperplasia.
