    My derm told me it's rare. Small percentage react bad to the meds. finasteride will stop the hair loss but thickening and regrowth are rare. Scalp itch and pain are a sign telogen affluvium. Hair drops at a faster rate in my opinion.

    My opinion is that it is speeding things up. I don't hear much about hairline or temples that regrow. I went 60 days and it was enough for me.

    Derm said it takes 3-6 weeks to go away. I'm at week 5 and it has slowed down a lot and pain/itch are gone.
