Hard to say as I also use oral minoxidil and 1mg of finasteride - but as the cream at most makes the hair a bit greasy along the temples and the cream is super cheap (around 8 bucks lasting 2 months), I would always recommend it
Yes, you should; Nizoral is part of the big 3, so it is always worth to add it (even though the effect of it is generally weaker than from finasteride and minoxidil)
My recommendation: If you only want to apply it to the temples, do not buy the shampoo - Ket works better if applied longer but...
And what about the question I had?
If there are two identical twins, one who does not take any medication, the other one taking finasterid for several years and then stopping it - will the second twin who had some treatment for some years continue to have a benefit over the person who never had...
This would only be an issue if 1. Even when you are 42, this is true for every doctor and there is still no other medication 2. You stay in Finland 3. You are not able to get the propecia another way (especially the third assumption is ridiculous)
Nevertheless a question I have asked myself as...
I do have some dark circles underneath my eyes but I am not sure to what extent it is because of the minoxidil; But helping lots of water (3 liters) helps;
I use retinol cream to combat the possible loss of collagen from the oral minoxidil; So far I have not been able to see more wrinkles due...
I guess this guy knows it better, sorry for my wrong statement about female pattern baldness - the difference can be quite subtle;
Anyway - everything I said about Finasteride and Treatments should be nevertheless correct
Listen to baba_yaga; The amount of hairs you lost in these areas is already more than 50% (at least it looks like that in the picture);
But I have good news for you: It is almost impossible to regrow hair at points where there is no hair left; For example, if your hairline receded or your...
A sensitivity of DHT that causes hair follicles to shrink and die - why we have different hair loss patterns and why we lose hair the way we do is something noone can tell you
It is not male pattern baldness but female pattern baldness - male pattern would be if you start to recede around your front and temples or if you start to have a thinning around your tonsure;
You are losing your hair equally all over the top of your head, so you have a general thinning...
It doesnt really answer my questions but nevertheless it was interesting;
Mainly I am interested in two things: If finasteride starts to lose power (i.e. the amount of DHT blocked is not enough anymore to prevent the hair loss) - will I also lose all the hair that I kept with finasteride within...
I started taking oral minoxidil + finasteride, gave me no sides and the situation got better; Not sure if I really suffered from hairloss or telogen effluvium but it was scary;
You still owe us pics...
Well I also started to lose tons of hair last year and expecially when wet, I also could see the skin of my scalp.. It was scary but still, it is not because of the finasteride
1. You have been on minoxidil but you started to lose your hair (that was before finasteride), so basically finasteride just did not seem to help you
2. Pictures? Because your impression might be very different from the truth
Finasteride does not make you thin - your genetics make you thin;
