Wow. That dermatologist seems like a f*****g idiot. Some people have such aggressive balding, that their hair will be gone by 30.
Not sure what you can do. In my country you can request a second opinion/to see a different dermatologist.
That seems absurd to me.
A lot of o
An immense amount of projection here, and it's far more of a reach for you. The reality is, there's a bunch of salty people here constantly spreading absurd amounts of fear about very safe drugs, because they themselves have suffered side effects. Instead of accepting that they're...
Better to stick with the science, which suggest Dutasteride is marginally better in terms of results. If you're happy with your results and are achieving maintenance with Finasteride, I strongly suggest you stick with your current regimen, switching to Duta on the hopes of unlikely "gains" is...
Here's the two Aussie doctors that prescribe these meds discussing Post-Finasteride syndrome. What they think about it, their experience with it e.t.c.
Check out the video on YouTube.
There's a lot of fear-mongering about these medications, hopefully this video can alleviate some people's...
This is what I expected. If you check my first posts on this forum were when I started Fina and I had a problem with mucus in my chest that lasted for like a month, it seemed way to perfectly in line to be something else. Turned out it was something else, I had a nasal infection that wouldn't go...
I think it's much more likely that this is coincidental, or psychosomatic. I can't see why this drug would cause these symptoms.
However, everyone is different. You could stay on them unless the symptoms worsen, to see if they go away. If not you can discontinue and see if the symptoms go away.
OP, I advise checking out this YouTube podcast series by two Australian doctors. It's short and worth watching to get some general information on their experiences prescribing it. Other than that, the preponderance of studies on finasteride demonstrate that it is an extremely safe drug, despite...
These videos are pretty low-effort, low-budget, but I think they're helpful to people understanding these medications better. There seems to be a whole lot of people who believe these are miracle drugs, and then another whole bunch of people that think these drugs will destroy your endocrine...
Nothing to say about your obvious projection, yeah I'd avoid that one too. This is yet more projection. I do not post nearly as much as you, I've been posting recently because I avoided Fina/Duta for 2 years because of the dumb fear-mongering from people like you, instead opted for minoxidil...
Just a load more rhetoric with nothing of substance, and more appeals to anecdote. You've gotten good at repeating your diatribe but it's based on air. Your accusations of coping are just projections, we can all see you're very salty about your experience on AAs, you are in a tiny minority and...
No you're not, you're just constantly suggesting that the risks do not outweigh the benefits generally, instead of in the cases of people who suffer sides. You have referred in almost every thread I've seen you in to the idea that people 'will learn' just like you did, as if it's some guarantee...
