If you want new hairs growing out there chances are maybe like 1 in 500! But if you still have hairs there but there just becoming weaker finasteride can make them stronger again and that will make it look like you are regrowing! But in anyhow it will prevent in 90% of cases from hairline recession if...
Yes Propecia and Rogaine can halt male pattern baldness even for a long time but for some it regrows actually new hair particularly Propecia. Rogaine usually gives you peach fuzz but both can strenghten your weak hairs and that's what can make you look fuller especially if you have a lot of those weak hairs!
I'm 22 but haven't seen anything yet :sobbing: But I know Propecia doesn't do anything but only blocks DHT and that's what can reverse your male pattern baldness but of course it's only "may" but the possibility for Propecia to do this is much higher then Rogaine and that's a fact! But a combo treatment is the...
You just said it! Propecia blocks DHT! A major cause of male pattern baldness! Rogaine doesn't. When you block DHT the hair stops being further damaged and may reverse and even new hairs may come out but mostly just thin hairs become thicker and that makes it look like regrowth. Rogaine may also stop your loss...
Taking finasteride is A LOT EASIER then taking Rogaine! And it wasn't a big surprise Propecia was going to stop my hair loss, it does so in 90% of cases! And I do have a mature hairline but I'm clearly thinning in the front although it's early and mild but it's there! My miniaturization test showed a...
Well finasteride is way stronger then minoxidil in all ways so I don't think minoxidil would do too much. And minoxidil is a life long committent and a hard one and your hairs become dependent on which is no good.
If your front is miniaturizing but not advanced Propecia/Rogaine can work just as well! As for the crown the reason it may better because there is usally a lot of of miniaturization for a long time and lots of hairs so that may give you better results but the front goes away really fast hence...
That's right I'm 9 1/2 months into Propecia 1mg a day treatment and everything is about the same since I started. I just have early frontal loss all I needed was some thickening of miniaturized hairs and that would give me a way fuller look. I'm 22 1/2 years and started Propecia only like 4...
1. Propecia does stop 90% of men's male pattern baldness! It's on propecia.com and they can't lie because they had to prove it to the FDA!
2. Yes Propecia may be more effective in the crown/vertex area then hairline and temples but only in regrowth and thickening! Why? Very simple...it can stop male pattern baldness anywhere...
Actually Propecia stops 90% not 80% of the time hair loss! And Propecia works to stop hair loss everywhere even the hairline and temples unless it's a juvenile hairline but I'm clearly a NW2 and thinning so I'm heading towards a NW3 if I won't do anything! But one thing I always believed is that...
I did call the transplant Doctor that prescribed me Propecia and he said I gotta wait 1-2 years I'm ok with that but I'm pretty sure the loss should stop after about 6 months into treatment or so!
I'm 22 1/2 years old with early frontal hair loss, rite now I'm a NW2 though. I'm into Propecia treatment for 8 1/2 months now. Anyways for the first 5 months everything looked the same then on month 6 I noticed some thickening and I believed the effects were going to show from then on. A few...
I had a topic here earlier about me and you guys told me clearly to give it a year on Propecia but today I'm exactly 7 months and 10 days into treatment and I saw a tiny bit of loss near the tip of my forelock and that's the spot where I had a little results after 5 months! I also noticed...
