Trials, Failures, And Success Of My Hairloss Battle

Hey 4myfuture! Thanks for the reply! Yeah it really was interesting the difference in the levels of success before and after including finasteride. Obviously I would never push you to take a medication that you didn't feel comfortable with, but based around my own personal experience, I would...

Tips For Toppik Users And Other Products Of The Sort

@tellersquill that is definitely correct! If you've got nothing in a certain area whatsoever, it won't work. However, you'd be shocked at how little hair you actually need for it to work!

Tips For Toppik Users And Other Products Of The Sort

Hi Everyone! I'm writing this because I see a lot of complaints about Toppik (and similar products) out on all the forums I follow, and I personally find them to be unfair. Often times you read how the product looks like dirt, how it falls out overnight, how it looks dull, etc. Now, as an...

Hair Loss Seems To Have Stopped At Last?

Hey Guys, About 5 months ago I posted in the "Success Stories" portion of this forum because I had been on finasteride and didn't have any side effects (which I wanted people to know) and because my hair loss seemed to be slowing up big time. However, a week or two after that post I had a shed...

    Young men and Finasteride (Propecia)

@RatherGoBlind There certainly could be an alternate cause to your hair loss. A lot of people do say that the side effects diminish after a month or two of use, and mine have definitely gone away. I am by no means saying that the sides are in your head, but keep in mind it is a...

    Young men and Finasteride (Propecia)

For me it was about a month that I noticed decreased shedding. Every now and then I'll have a day where it seems like I'm shedding, but it's few and far between. I've stopped with minoxidil for now because I wanted to see what kind of effect finasteride could have on it's own considering it is so...

    Young men and Finasteride (Propecia)

@Vincent777 sorry but I don't think that I ever said that people are making unsubstantiated claims about finasteride. What I'm saying is that you hear a lot more of the bad stories than the good stories. Also, I was not aiming any comment specifically at this forum, but at the numerous forums...

    Young men and Finasteride (Propecia)

Hi Everyone, I am addressing this post to all men, especially younger men who are considering Propecia but are scared to take the plunge. Just a forewarning this is going to be fairly lengthy. MY STORY I am a 23 year old male and have been losing my hair since I was about 17. I didn't...

Are there many success stories with propecia (finastrdie) here?

I guess it depends on what you consider "success". I'm a pretty young guy (23) so I still have an ok amount of hair left. However, it is noticeably thin and receding. I've been on Proscar for several months now and can absolutely say that my hair has stopped falling. I no longer have hair...

Does the shedding from minoxidil grows back after stop using it???

I know this won't be what you want to hear, but the best answer is maybe. You're correct that Munoz resets the hair growth cycle. The reality is that if you feel like your hair has gotten worse since minoxidil and you've been on it for several months (I'd personally give it at least 6 months if not...

Am I balding? One minute I think yes, the next I think no!

I would say it's nothing to worry about! You see a little scalp when it's wet, but it looks perfect dry. My advice would be to not stress over it because no one would notice that but to keep an eye on it every now and then after a year just to make sure.
