Re: James (27) 15 months at Apr 2010...NEW Photos.

Hey....apologies for the long delay guys, I've just logged back-in and noticed the new replies....I'm back using alpecin shampoo again now and still using the foam once a day and the propecia. Where it stands is a bit iffy at the minute as I'm not 100% sure how well things are going. Put it this...

    Philips QC5170 Mains Rechargeable Hairclipper

Hey guys, talking myself into trying to cut my own hair from now onwards in order to save some cash and found these clippers online. Has anyone used them at all? I tend to get a #0.5 or a #1 on the back and side and blended into a higher grade #2.5 #3 on top as I'm diffuse thinning in the...

    styling products with thickening/volumizing effect

I've just invested in some Jason's Thin-to-Thick shampoo and some Got2b chaotic putty. Haven't used it yet mind you but will do this weekend so I'll let you know how I find it.

    opinions for buzz cut

Yup, I'd reckon so my friend. Maybe go a grade or two lower on the back and sides compared to the top and you'll improve the blend between the two. That's what I normally do and it does a fairly decent job of blending it all in. At least with going on holiday, you have a ready made reason for...

Dr John Ashcroft - is he for real?

He's fine, don't worry. You'll get his address when you contact him to send payment. No complaints at my end :)

Nothing feels better than a good buzz cut

I 'treated' myself to my 1st buzz in around 6-7 weeks before, went for a 1 on the back and sides and then scissor-cut down to a 3 on the top....looks clean, simple and manageable and yes, it gives the appearence of the thinner hairs looking thicker which was starting to tail off in the last week...

    Cutting down 5mg Proscar

No reason, as I say, the pill-cutter I'm using (not what different method I try) always seems to split it into a 3rd, so my thinking was taking 1.65 mg per day but then leaving the 4th day, meaning 5mg is still being split over 4 days, albeit not into 4th's.

    Cutting down 5mg Proscar

Hi guys, quick question here (and I think I know the answer but thought I'd just check). My pill cutter is annoyingly cutting down a 5mg proscar pill into 3's, so for the last week or two, I've been taking a 1/3 per day and then not taking anything on the 4th day and then repeating...I take it...

Re: James (27) 15 months at Apr 2010...NEW Photos.

I can see your point actually and that's very true :) Anyway, my order of genuine proscar has arrived from Dr Ashcroft and now to start cutting it up! - Do you think taking 2.5mg every 2 days would be okay? I'm a bit wary of cutting into 4 pieces in case it breaks it into even smaller...

Re: James (27) 15 months at Mar 2010...stopping propecia...? Right, pictures just taken now...usual mixture of flash used in some and not in others....this is it, 15 months in.

    propecia year 2

Hi Yankee, I'm pretty okay with minoxidil to be honest. I had to stop using the liquid as it was too greasy to keep on and plus it made my scalp itchy and pretty 'raw'. I've been on the foam for around 5 months now and the itching has gone, it dries quickly etc - it's just the cost and use of it...

    Andrei_eremenko's Story - (23)

Re: me again...23 Good luck.I've just ordered 9 months worth of merck proscar too after most of the last year of generic propecia - something inside is telling me to do it as the generic hasn't done what the merck stuff did in my first three months. So hopefully we'll have a positive outcome...

Re: James (27) 15 months at Apr 2010...NEW Photos.

Re: James (27) 15 months at Mar 2010...stopping propecia...? Yeah, I'm thinking more that I've used solely minoxidil in the past for a few months then stopped when I felt that I'd made enough progress (naive I know....), however I always led myself to believe that if I'd kept going, it'd have got...

Re: James (27) 15 months at Mar 2010...stopping propecia...? To be honest my friend, the fact that it could have been minoxidil helping in the first 4 months never even occurred to me....interesting. Anyway, I have an appointment with an upmarket hairdressers at the end of the week, which is going...

    propecia year 2

I'm in exactly the same position as you my friend- hit the 1 year mark in January and now into my 14th Month. Progress is fairly stable from day 1, I wouldn't say I was bowled over by my results so I was debating giving the finasteride up. However, what I've bought since my 3rd month is the generic...
