Anyone have any success at all with using nizoral alone?

For those of you that don't know... I have a general all around thinning of my hair... I have noticed that even the hairs on the very back of my head are weaker and have somewhat thinned, and that the whole of my head has change texture... is this normal for male pattern baldness??
