Back of head weak?

For those of you that don't know... I have a general all around thinning of my hair... I have noticed that even the hairs on the very back of my head are weaker and have somewhat thinned, and that the whole of my head has change texture... is this normal for male pattern baldness??

It sounds like you a diffuse thinner, this is a fairly common trait in male pattern baldness.

I noticed a sudden (over a month or two) and obvious change in the texture of my hair when Ol' Mr male pattern baldness came 'a' knocking.
