Thanks for the responses. I accept that these clinics do charge a high premium for their services, but I was hoping someone actually knew what products they use and if they have any 'tricks' to improve their results.

I've read on here that using a non-medicated shampoo (cheaper?) as a pre wash prior to nizoral is a good idea - so on that basis nizoral 1% could be a good pre wash for Nano??? Anoyone else care to chip in with some advice?

A question along a similar theme - What would happen to a person who took finasteride that wasn't suffering male pattern baldness? I often wonder if I jumped the gun on finasteride and had it made my hair thinner. Likely/Possible?

OK, thanks for the info guys. Am I right in saying then that the new hair does not grow then? (I have a feeling this may be a stupid question, sorry!) Are these likely to be full hair pieces or somehow new hair is entwined with your existing hair?

As a growth supplement, is Tricomin a bit like minoxidil whereby some hairs will be shed in the expectation of improved hair being regrown?

Is there a known percentage (%) of people who have a decent (significant) cosmetic improvement using minoxidil? What about the % of people who do not respond and end up worse off than before starting minoxidil?

Not really but I would like to know too. Do you really need to saturate the scalp or just moisten it?
