yeah i know they are totally different anti androgens but i think dutasteride is the best in terms of safety... plus, i've got auto immune hepatitis syndromes like finger joint pains :( i searched it on the web and i found that it is one of the possible side effects of CPA that will disappear...

very beautiful hair  i'm jealous of it :D i want to switch from CPA to Dutasteride because my liver is very sensitive and cant tolerate it... currently my CPA dose is 12.5mg/d and i've been on it for 2 months by now, and i've got some red hives on my body and pain in my liver area :(...

They can't be on cpa for long time... The best way is to go under orchiectomy after one year of hrt and then there's no need to cpa, only transdermal estradiol will be enough... Cpa is very harsh, I'm using 12.5mg/d for hair loss, but i get headaches even at such a low dose

not all people respond equally to a specific medication... some individuals may stop these extreme regimens after full regrowth and be able to maintain their regrown hair with finasteride... you can check my regimen... my hair has started to regrow since I've added CPA to my regimen (I've been...

you're right but without hair i'm falling into depression and finasteride alone doesn't work, I have been on finasteride 2mg/d for 6 months  recently i have added CPA 12.5mg/d to my regimen (it has been 47 days by now)... it won't cause feminisation without estradiol and i hope it...

do you guys know how much does it take for CPA 12.5mg/d to make some noticeable change on hair?

    Exploring The Hormonal Route. Hair=life.

Yeah, but 12.5mg/d doesn't expose serious side effects, and its enough for many to have a good hair... Last year when i was on 200 mg/d spironolactone, i was close to ruin my liver, in the blood test that i took i noticed that my liver enzymes were 4x of the normal range

I had tried it last year, but i didn't see any result o_O plus, it dehydrated my body... spironolactone 200 mg has more side effects than cpa 12.5 mg

Thanks :) Yes cpa at such low doses wont have any agonist or antagonist activity, as it is written in Wikipedia: "Although CPA is a potent antiandrogen, relatively high doses of CPA are nonetheless required for clinically important AR antagonism." Even at high doses, chances are that its...

I don't have much information about spironolactone but if you use cpa 12.5mg/d, due to its potent antigonadotropic effect it will lower your T levels by 70% and its pretty enough to maintain a good hair, by the way, at such low doses, it wont have any antagonist or agonist effects... I have been on cpa...
