Hey guys, I just received my bottle of Kirkland minoxidil ( for oral use ) and was wondering if I can test its topical effectiveness on my face first without it causing a shed on my scalp? Thanks!

You mean for beard growth? Its worth a try. I would just take it as a suppository if I were you.

I’d try it on one spot on my head only because facial hair and head hair doesn’t react exactly the same to medications it’s your call

Oral use? You should take 0.1 ml of a 5% solution to have 5 mg minoxidil daily

Yeah. Since being on a powerful anti androgen my beard growth is being suppressed and is looking a bit patchy

I got mine from ThailandPharmacy but I would recommend getting it from either AllDayChemist or InhousePharmacy instead. None of the ingredients in topical minoxidil are poisonous or dangerous but the minoxidil may cause problems in sensitive individuals. When I was taking 10mg I had my blood pressure checked and it was still within the normal range.
Yeah i figured it would be about that. Its probably not a good idea but since previously being on 10mg and still having a normal blood pressure I think it should be 'safe' enough for me to use roughly 5mg
