Most of my hairloss is on my hairline so idk if it is because of the alcohol and cigarettes or dht. I am going to be increasing my finasteride dose to 1mg now , trying to be as aggressive as possible against my male pattern baldness as i can. I will keep you guys updated on any potential side effects or gains during this time .
Think of it like this, DHT does cause your hair to fall out because it makes the follicles smaller and thinner but losing blood circulation is going to further cause fall because a decrease amount of blood can get to the scalp

smoking, drinking, ejaculating, shaving your head, washing your hair too often, using styling products in hair, driving a car with AC on is all known habits to hinder any hair growth on antiandrogens and should be limited to once every lightyear.

This is quite likely, so I would advise you to significantly reduce your consumption. For the same reason, I switched to cigars and smoke once a month. Haze Smoke Shop CA gives me a better variety for greater enjoyment.

An unhealthy lifestyle really does affect hair loss. My husband has already experienced this. I’m glad I found the freebird shaver customer service phone number, and he started shaving. Being bald actually suited him, but he dreamed of having great hair. So when he started following a healthy lifestyle and taking proper treatment, he began to feel better and his hair also started to grow better. So I recommend paying attention to proper nutrition.

Smoking and drinking don’t really “cancel out” finasteride directly.

Finasteride works hormonally, so alcohol or cigarettes won’t block it in a simple way.

That said, heavy drinking and smoking can affect overall hair health. Things like blood flow, inflammation, and general recovery all play a role, so it’s not completely separate.

Also, 13 units a day is quite a lot. Even outside of hair, that’s something worth paying attention to.

Finasteride can still work, but you’re kind of pulling in two directions at once.
