Why On Earth Is My Hairline This Uneven? (pics)

I am 25 , i have been on minoxidil for over a year now, just started finasteride like 3 weeks ago. My hairline was slightly uneven a year ago, now it seems like only my left side is receeding. My left side is probably a nw3 whereas my right side is like a Norwood 2 and hasnt receeded for a year.

Is this normal?, i know that male pattern baldness is not supposed to be symmetrical but come on my hairline just looks ridiculous lol.

I am currently growing my hair long as i am scared to expose the public to my extremely uneven hairline.

Anyway, my question is. Does anyone else have this problem?, is this completely normal?. What can i really do about this (other than hope finasteride and minoxidil give me some regrowth on the left side and keep my right intact)

Your right side is Norwood 1 and your left is maybe NW2 at the very worst. You have seen a genuine NW3 before, right?
My hairline recession is also uneven.

Receding unevenly is really normal. Your hair is sick right now though, finasteride might thicken up that hairline too so you are set for the next decade.

My right side may be a Norwood 1(probably nw1.5) but my left side is atleast a Norwood 2.5 man. I find it extremely difficult to style my hair because it looks retarded, i would rather have both sides be a nw2 , the fact that my forehead is on the larger side doesnt help either.

Yeah i do understand that but is it normal for one side to receede and be ruined but the other side is still relatively intact?

Both sides of your hairline are better than mine and I wouldn't say I'm a NW2.5+.. We are our own worst critics when it comes to our hair bro, you still have amazing hair and nobody ( except a Norwood spotter ) would notice you have some minor recession. Just stick with treatments and hope for the best! You could try using more minoxidil and dermarolling on the worse side that may help.

Same boat, my left temple is receded more than my right temple but I think that’s how it’s always been. As a kid was your hairline uneven?

Both sides of your hairline are better than mine and I wouldn't say I'm a NW2.5+.. We are our own worst critics when it comes to our hair bro, you still have amazing hair and nobody ( except a Norwood spotter ) would notice you have some minor recession. It looks alot worse to me, maybe i am just obsessing , unfortunately for me my hair parts from the left to right , if it was the other way round i could style it alot better. I use minoxidil twice a day already, now that i am on finasteride it will help thicken the hairs around my hairline more hopefully, i might buy a dermaroller also just to increase absorption.

Do you also find it difficult to style your hair due to the uneveness making it look weird?. As a kid my left side was Slightlyyy higher than the right but not enough to be able to tell.

Do you guys think i should cut my hair shorter, i grew it long to try and cover my rleft side but i cant really style it when its this long, it just flaps around and gets in my eyes. I cant slick it back since that will expose my left side . Idk if medium length would be more practical and easier to style.
