All jokes aside I agree, furthermore, testosterone will also miniaturize your hair after DHT is eliminated.
I would guess probably for the same reason some start growing facial hair.

Well, unless it's very severe case, I just minimal and only happens way latter on life.
My mother is actually showing some diffuse thinning, specially in her crown. Her father was a NW7. All the baldies/balding of the Family inherited ir from him.
