The sides of my head are thinning dramatically , also my crown and top is thinning , I don't understand why my sides are thinning as it isn't the typical route for male pattern baldness...
Whyyyyy?

It's just the route your hair loss is taking. Everyone seems to have it different. Some guys only have receding hairlines, others have bald spots as well. Some guys don't even have thinning hair, just a receded hairline.

it might be diffuse thinning.....alot of people here experience this pattern of balding. I do.......My hair is getting thinner all over and shedding alot all over (including sides + back). Why don't you hop on finasteride or any of the big 3?

With all those shampoos your using I would say it's because your wasing your hair 3 times a day or so

Currently , I'm only using jasons thin to thick Shampoo and conditioner and revita , 7 days a week. Do you think thats excessive?

7 days a week?? I shampoo 3 times a week and some even consider that a little too much. But ya 7 seems way too excessive. Your hair needs to be able to produce its own natural oils to remain healthy.

Could be tellogen effluvium. Did I spell that right?

Yeah, if you suffered physical or emotional stress in the past, it is likely that you are suffering tellogen effluvium.

I'm not saying you are definitely suffering from Telogen Effluvium, but it's a possibility.

its not Telogen Effluvium.
your sides are thinning because men with male pattern baldness have thin sides. go look at nw6's and nw7's and tell me that their sides are thick and robust.
probably not the news you wanted to hear.

Washing your hair every day of the week can be very though on it. I wash 5 or 6 times per week, but half of that is using nizoral.

I like the way you say ONLY in your sentence. That gives me the impression that using three shampoos 7 times a week isn't really overdoing it.

I'd actually like to know how you do it, I mean in what order do you apply the three shampoos?

Its a unique talent I have acquired :)

I really stuck for things to do now , My hair is literally dead , Im 19. Its just thin and flimsy. I did a pull test on my hair near the side ,just in front of my ear there and 7 hairs came out from one pull. So I went to do it again and got 6 hairs the second time. Pretty much as bad as it gets.My temples have receded and inch and a half and my crown has thinned out a lot. My head and hair are sore yet my scalp is clean with no dermatitis or anything. Think Im stuck from here now. Its thin all over my head now , apart from the lower back. I guess I'm heading for NW6-7 , very depressing at 19 years of age especially since I have quite a large head and white skin.

Anyways, about the shampoo , I use Revita first cover my head and leave it there for 5 mins. Wash it out. Get Jasons Thin to Thick Shampoo and apply it all over my head and leave it there for 2-3 mins. Wash it out. Get Jasons Conditioner and apply all over my head and leave for a good 5 mins. Wash that out and towel dry my head. Then I repeat all that for 7 days a week. I can't stop , Because if I don't wash my hair it will look completely thin. The wash gives it volume and makes it look big , theres a huge difference between my hair washed and my hair not washed , it amazing really.

Even my Fu€king pubes are falling out , I did a pull test and 8 came out. Funny thing is nobody knows how much I'm suffering , I just go out and have a normal day and go home and obsess over the burden that is my hair. All my friends are so lucky they don't know how lucky they are to have hair. Even If I just kept it till I got through college.

There's nothing wrong with washing your hair everyday if you want. Bryan talked about a study where even if you wash hair in ether, which will completely strip your hair of all oils, the hair remains healthy, lustrous and shiny.

No offense, but it might be a good idea to say things outloud to yourself before posting

I think you should see a doctor. There might be something wrong with your hormonal balance.

The shed you are describing doesn't sound normal to me.

I saw a Doctor , got blood tests about 4 months ago , he said they were all normal. Makes no sense to me.. Don't have a clue what tests he actually did. I've thought about hormonal imbalances before , but I keep telling myself that I shouldn't look for an excuse , believing that it's just premature male pattern baldness.

If I was to go to my GP again , what exactly do I tell him? My hairs falling out , I really think theres something wrong here?
What tests do I ask to be done?

If it was hormonal imbalances why would my hairline have receded?

Really depressing right now , crown is itching like crazy too..

I don't know the answers to your questions. Tell your GP to refer you to a dermatologist or something.

It just sounds very strange to me that you can pull 8 strands of hair so easily.

The itching is probably a sign of inflamed scalp. nizoral helps out a lot with that, so If I were you i'd toss that in to your reg along with some tea tree conditioner to avoid drying it out badly.
