Hi, ladies!

Would like to know if anyone uses oral minoxidil? Tablets or liquid? What are the doses and results?

guy here but i think generally around 5mg should be sufficient for anyone regardless of sex.. results tho seem to vary. In theory it's a highly potent growth stimulant, be it liquid or tablet but in practice, good luck finding a handful of anecdotes on it.

I'll tell u one thing tho the initial shed is very real in my experience. For lack of practical feedback tho i'm running it myself for a year before drawing my own conclusion.

Shedding is about 100 hairs and it tapers off during a 2 week period.

Doctors who prescribe oral minoxidil for women typically will use lower doses compared to men (0.625-2.5mg daily). The doctors in the video discuss their experiences treating both men and women with oral min:

Me too. I didn't find any english articles about that, but only couple of them in Portuguese.
I used this service https://translationreport.com/portuguese-trаnslation-services for the translation and honestly didn't like what i read.
The list of side effects is huge and some of them are very and very serious. Much worse that the hairloss problem if you know what i mean.

I used minoxidil for 1.5 years for the female pattern hair loss, I am not sure about the results because monthly once i used to do PRP treatment and everyday minoxidil I have seen the result but only the temporary if you don't want to lose your hair anymore it's better to use the minoxidil.

I use oral minoxidil 2.5mg and oral spironolactone 75mg, for 2 years. Doctor prescribes Loniten 10mg and I split into 4. I was splitting into 6 and then found out my daughter's dermatologist said to her 2.5 was OK. Yes, both of us has the condition. Mine started at 17 and now 61yo. Both she and myself are going well. Some more fine hairs on my legs and face and I notice she has more on her forearms. No other side effects except the positive of less oily hair. After trying many treatments over the years, including 5% oral monixidil for many years, I can say this combo has produced good results for both of us. While my hair is not as thick as when I was 16, it does not have obvious shedding cycles and is at least twice as thick.
