Joan, you're too nice, thank you for the insight! You bring up some good points. It's just that I've seen so many people and friends whose looks have been terribly eroded and disfigured when they went bald or buzzed it. In my eyes, when one of my best friends got rid of his wig, he went from looking like a rock star to an old man, a completely different person. But you are right, there are many more people who sport that buzzed/bald look than looking like Motley, although I love the Crue!! I guess I just love that look and everything that goes along with it: the flash, the exotic look, the fashion, the extravagance, and the fun. I really should've been born much earlier!!! But your points are well taken Joan and I will keep your thoughts in mind when I finally do buzz it off.
That's awesome about Twisted Sister!! I've met all those guys and gotten photos with them. IMO, Dee Snider is one of the best frontmen ever and he's a very nice guy in person too. I even ran into guitarist Eddie Ojeda once at a rock dive bar in The Valley a few years ago. I saw them in 2015 and along with Motley Crue's farewell show, it was my favorite concert of the year. Who are some of your other favorite bands?
And last but certainly not least, how is your son doing? He must be home for winter break now.
