I know they don't stop male pattern baldness
Also I am confused about zinc, does it help or promote baldness?

I think using any multivitamin brand is sufficient. Zinc should not promote baldness.

I usually don't take multivitamins. I take separate supplements like Magnesium, Biotin, Zinc, Ubiquinol and some other ones for example. I wonder if there's anything that will help treat graying hair.
How much zinc do you take daily?

do you guys think that multivitamin sups could help thicken the hair? Or make your hair grow faster despite Androgenetic Alopecia?

I take 50 mg zinc daily. I had mild acne and some acne scars from the past. Within a month, i am %100 clear and all the scars healed. I don't know if it helps with hairloss. Too much zinc can lead to copper deficiency which is something to watch out for.
Which form of zinc is that you are taking like zinc oxide, zinc sulphate? Zinc sulphate only contains 22% of elemental Zinc which is the real deal.
What I have observed with Zinc is that it makes my hair oily, which is considered to be a bad thing. This effect is seen in even as low dose as 15mg.

For how long have you been taking Zinc and did you see any further thinning while on it?

Had the same issue and used Zinc. It is good for hair. But it probably does nothing for baldness.
How much do you take daily and what good did it do to your hair? It makes my hair and skin a bit oily.

There's no convincing evidence that multivitamins have anything to do with hair.

In fact, there's no evidence that multivitamin pills are good for you at all. It may be that everybody already has a good diet, or that the way these pills are made means they are not bioavailable.

There is some evidence for specific vitamins. Folic acid for pregnant women reduces the risk of spina bifida. I think there's evidence for vitamin D supplements to prevent depression.

Yes, classic male pattern baldness has nothing to do with vitamins or minerals but I believe through personal experience that these supplements affect the hair quality or texture.

For general health, I take powdered greens in the morning. I also just ordered some maca powder.

None of it makes a difference. Take whatever one you prefer. If your in a hair loss forum Id imagine this relates to male pattern baldness somehow so if thats the case the big 2 are pretty proven. minoxidil or finasteride or accept male pattern baldness and go live life. The thousands of cutting edge threads can be boiled down to finasteride+minoxidil. Nothing else works without endless trial and error. RU or CB are things to try, topical spironolactone, saw palmetto, nizoral, revivogen, and the list goes on and on if you prefer the more traveled advised against routes.
