Skin is so much easier. But IMO the potential realism of skin pales in comparison to Swiss.

Poly edges is a nice middle ground.

Thin skin systems don't look ultra-realistic? I thought that was their top selling point...

I have french lace w/ a poly perimeter. The poly doesn't blend that impressively w my skin, but I assumed that was because it's not UTS-thin...

UTS base shines very unnaturally in daylight. But let's assume it's a fresh, new base with a perfect bond.

The hair ventilation is extremely unnatural. It will never look like the hair is coming out of the scalp, and the direction is also unnatural. It's not lifting off the base in the same way that hair follicles are directed.

This is IMO, but also I like to analyze these things very closely.
