Where Do You Store Your Spare Hair System And How Do You Maintain It?

Hi everyone,

I'll be getting my 2nd hair system installed in just over 2 weeks. I want to keep the one I'm wearing at the moment as a backup system. Where do you guys store them? I take it you shampoo & condition as normal every week or so to keep it looking healthy?

I just wash it, dry it, and store it in a ziplock bag in a dark place (the bottom of my underwear drawer!). No need to keep washing it.

I throw them in a cardboard box in a closet. I never wash them until after they are cut. I dont understand why one would wash and condition them every week when your not even wearing them yet; that is never good.

Do you ever wash it? I very seldom do. That is why I dont use any hair product.

When it's on my head... I don't, just rinse, when I am hot and sweaty...

I wash it after I remove the tape.

Understand I am now wearing a TINY unit... and keep my bio hair shaved, and I am at 90% synthetic grey.
