How did you know that? Actually, I stopped during the child producing period I asked an urologist doctor "friend" about it, and he advised me to take a break.

No side effects at all. It's a fantastic drug and I cherish taking it each day.

none at all? not even lowered libido? Ive been on it for 6 months but then stopped because of lowered libido and sensitivity but now im reconsidering and thinking it might have been psychosomatic.

A person's libido is not static. It goes up and down throughout a year (and of course diminishes with age). Average Joe contemplates a week or two with low libido and says to himself that he has been drinking too much lately. Someone on finasteride, on the other hand, will always blame finasteride. Personally, I never had any problems and I don't stress.

Besides, no point in having strong libido if you are bold...
