Can someone tell me why are they not more companies focusing on halting hairloss?

Trying to create new hair is surely not the way forward here, seems to be a lot of companies and research are scattered when it comes to balding ?

My knowloage of hairloss is limited but surely the main focus should be on one thing not a mixture of things

Oh I can imagine they will be a tone, it’s their validity that I am questioning because they seems to be so many different companies going for different things applying different sciences to hair loss is muddying the water.

I would rather have a handful of strong money backed companies who back up their claims than a thousand companies muddying the water

Basic problem is we still don't understand what causes it. Just by trial and error we've been able to find a bunch of things that either retard it or reverse it, and we know the horse shoe on most men isn't affected so we've been trying to just build perfect copies of those hairs, but until science can pinpoint for certain all of the factors and genes that play into androgenetic alopecia we're stuck throwing the kitchen sink at it.

It will never be cured since baldness is a secondary sex characteristic, just like female boobs are. DHT is secondary hormone just like estradiol is.
Would you cure the phenomenon of big breasted women ? No?
The answer then is :

1. Either when society deems baldness attractive
or
2. When we develop local drugs and hair multiplication.
