Hi

I know it might sound redundant.. I'm almost 20 and just noticed I can see my scalp more easily and that my hair feels thinner...

I really don't want to enter in the Rogaine nor the Propecia route..

I've searched all the day for shampoos and stuff..

Just wondering, what do you guys would recommend me to stop hair loss... and thinning hair?

I hear the Nizoral shampoo is great.. but dries a lot ur scalp..

What combo do u guys recommend me? Shampoo, Contionner, Leave in treatement..

I heard Tricomin, Folligen, Nioxin and Thymuskin shampoos are all good? Which ones are the best? Best results?

I was thinking.. using a Nizoral Shampoo 3 times a week. Use the Nioxin shampoo for the rest of the week..??

I would really appreciate any help... that hair loss is depressing me..

Dude, if you're that young and just starting to lose your hair, you should definitely start with the minoxidil and propecia. The quicker you jump on this problem, the better chance you have at beating it back. The nizoral shampoo can having a drying effect on your scalp if you use too much of it. Just applying it a couple of times a week shouldn't cause you any problems, though. At very least start with the minoxidil.

Well, if you can see your scalp and think your hair is getting thinner, it probably is. Hairloss often starts with thinning. Trust me, it's better to start fighting back sooner than later.
I don't know of any bad side effects of using minoxidil. However, if it's general thinning, starting with propecia might be your best bet. Talk to your doctor about it. There are shampoos and other products that can give your hair a thicker appearance, but they don't actually stop hairloss or make it grow back.
