I'm a person that likes to be over prepared for stuff like this. What questions should I be asking the salon I will be using for my first system?

If I understand correctly, you have already ordered your system, and you are waiting for the cut-in, correct?

I would have had a TON of questions before I got to this stage...

Well, since you opted for NO self-maintenance, the main question I would want to know their availability for emergencies. I assume you are getting lace since they are giving you a unit they ostensibly made on site. Sometimes the choice of adhesives doesn't always work with the client. What happens when it's 9 pm, and you are dressed to go out for dinner and the hairline starts to come up?

How long to wait before being able to get it wet?

How often to shampoo, or condition, and what products do they recommend?

You SHOULD be using a daily, leave-in conditioner, with sunscreen if you go out into the sun.

What is their policy if they get the system on, and it doesn't match your color, density, etc?

No this is a skin unit, perhaps I misunderstood him about making it there?

It's quite unlikely that the system is made in a high-wage country like the US. But does that really matter?

I don't care where it's made as long as it does the job and is undetectable

I swap between lace and 0.03 mm skin, both are very comfortable. I like skin more because a lot easier to take care. Yes they are undetectable. I hope your salon will show you how to do self maintain. Please let everyone here know the result.

Absolutely will, and he did say he'd be spending about 30 minutes with me at the end to go over maintenance and answer questions.

I just came back from 2 hours workout at the gym. Sweat like a pig as usual. Snap a few photos to show you how 0.03mm skin look like without using any hair products. I just style with my fingers and don't need to do any hairline touch up. Super easy to manage.
