Please someone help me figure this out.
I am 18 years old. I was overweight for a good portion of my life, I started working out on June 26th 2014 to like Mid-Late August. I lost 28KG or 60LBS during this time. I worked out once a day at first, starting at 2 miles and then 20 sit ups. I then did that twice a day, and then moved it onto 3 times a day. So around the end I was doing it more vigorously, 6 mile speedwalks/jogs and then 60 sit ups. I had a restricted diet, I was going below my calorie intake consistently + working out on top of it.
Come September, once I get my haircut. I start noticing my hair falling out a lot, just generally. I had very thick hair, it got to the point where you could feel how thin it had gotten. Even my barber said that it's thinned out. It all just happened so suddenly. I am really paranoid right now, I don't know what this is. I went to my Doctor and he said that it's Telogen Effluvium from the physical stress my body endured and the amount of weight I lost. Though, I need some more reassurance. I am really worried about this and I just want people to be honest and tell me what it is. It's gotten to the point where I feel as if even my hairline is receding from searching so much stuff on male pattern baldness.
So basically, just 3 months after the Stressful event.
I'm really so paranoid I can't even tell what it is. It's like In the middle of my hairline and crown that's where it's the most thinned out.. No bald patches as my Doctor said. But it's just, I don't know. It's not in the male pattern baldness pattern? Is my hairline receding? Please if someone could tell me I'd appreciate it. Also, does it look as if it's diffuse? As in all over my scalp?
The hairs that fall out 99.9% of the time have a white bulb attached to the end of them.
