i use nizoral twice a week, and baby shampoo on all other days. i wash my hair everyday and dont really want to stop this as my scalp is much healthier now and my tricologist told me to do so.

Anyways, my hair is very dry and looks lighter aswell esepcially on the top and crown where im applying the minoxidil.

Is there any products i can use to combat this? Iv heard of Emu oil?

I'm quite new to this and stuff but maybe Nizoral 1% would be a better idea. ?

Appart from that I can't help you - wait for some of the experts to respond.

But I'm sure i read somewhere that nizoral 1% is kinder on hair/scalp whilst still being nearly as effective.

Good luck

I would think any good conditioner should solve that problem.

Why the advice against using a conditioner?!
On the days you don't use nizoral, you could just wash your hair with water, this seems to allow the oils to get back into the hair.

You could try using a smaller amount of the shampoo, just enough to lather and set in. Also, rinsing with cold water may help. Good luck!
