Nice thread topic. The dates are critical.

However, the following links do not give much hope:

Study: Cure for Baldness Could Happen in 5 Years
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2010/12/16/study-cure-baldness-happen-years.html

I hear it all the time in science stories - a particular invention or discovery would be here in the next 5 - 10 years. Like cheap, limitless energy from nuclear fusion has been always a decade away. Please know that I have nothing against science - for crying out loud, I won't be able to post this and share it with you guys without technology made possible by science. I f*cking love science.

I am just frustrated with the lack of breakthroughs that solve problems and in this context, it means - a freaking cure for baldness or a treatment which can get me all my hair back.
I have never heard or read scientists claiming that nuclear fusion is just a decade away.
That is usually what journalists go for and it's them basically who make such tentative claims.
In Bioscience, it takes lots of time for a project to come to fruition. 7-10 years and it's not certain the final product will be released. That is how it is!

That is how science works, buddy.
It's always mice first.

That's the reason why people trust Tsuji. In an industry full of companies saying their treatment will be out in 2 years, he's the only one saying "Yes, it's gonna take a decade instead of your usually promised 2 years, but I'll stick to that so that people won't complain later".
