What are the actual chances of shedding when quitting minoxidil?

thats a good question. you would have to just try it and see. clearly if you have been on minoxidil over a year, and seen no improvement, i think its safe to ahead and quit.

Only respondents need to worry about quitting, not everyone who used it. Nothing will happen if it grow anything for you. That's not to say it wasn't maintaining some hair for you - this usually happens to people who have been on it so long and didn't realise it was still working as some regrowth was gone. I saw a horrific case on youtube.

Judging from your picture, I think you would easily know if it did something for you or not.

actually wolf pack you may be wrong. Just because you didnt regrow doesnt mean minoxidil was saving some of your hairs from dying off. minoxidil has made no noticeable improvement for me and now that im steadily on finasteride with minimal sides i wish i could just get off but i had skipped 2 days a couple weekends ago and noticed alot more shedding hair than usual.
