because i pay for health insurance,i have to have a medical every 6 months and i had it this morning, guess what he says my blood pressure is sky high for someone of 27 and that he would not cover me to drive hgv's
anymore ,this is currently not a problem as i havent drove hgv's for over 4 years but thats now a nother area of my life fucked,he also wanted me to take tablets for the blood pressure,i agreed, but then asked if there were any side affects,he said sometimes they can cause hairloss,
i said if i was at deaths door i would not take anything that might cause hairloss, then he said you are joking are'nt you,i said no i am not ,i then told him i was taking hairloss tablets in the form of avodart,he ordererd me to stop taking them straight away, cut a long story short,i nearly came to blows with this dr presani, and was escorted of the premises.

i must admit i lost the plot but it is liberating in a way because the nasty side in my character is now out and nobody will ever tell me or order me to anything again

I am sorry to hear that dude! But at the end of the day your health is far more important than your hair! I know you value your hair (we all do) but I ain't a doctor and neither are you so its better to take the doctor's advice and stop taking the treatments.

im entitled to my opinion. you really expect me to believe that you and a medical doctor almost got in a physical fight because he asked you to stop taking avodart and you refused?

if it did in fact happen, i'm sure it was almost entirely your fault.

I am a kind, loving guy,but when i feel helpless,i fight back and never accept anything ,this is why hairloss hurts so much, theres nothing i can do about it

I love how Drs with Medical degrees are so poorly informed...whereas you are so informed of potent medicines via Hairloss Forums! That's awesome.

Doctors are for hte most part far more intterested in making sure you dont have any life threatening conditions. hair loss is way way down on the priority list so they spend their time keeping up to date on more important medical conditions. i think you'd agree this is probably the best course of action for them yes?

so if we accept the above, then its highly likely that someone who has read this forum indepth will have more hair loss knowledge than the average family doctor. i'm definately not one of the most well informed members of this site but i can say without a doubt i know more about hair loss than every doctor/dermatologist i have ever been in contact with.

Sorry.

nothing wrong with working in a dinner shop IBM, just as long as you have some plan for doing something with more room for growth later on. funny thing about you IBM is that if you actually said outloud in real life what is going on in your head, but said it in a self deprecating voice followed by a smile and a laugh as if you didnt really care, you'd have ladies falling all over you.
