Yeah, great hearing news, that testing phase for tsuji start in 2018 so nearest and luckiest release would be 2020 and for enormous price when you are early 20s poor balding guy in 2017. What a day to be alive.

Exactly. Afaik we don't know the price. I highly doubt it will be 30k or more, but easily between 5 to 20k. If it's less, God bless Tsuji and mother-Halle-fuckin-lluja we're in. But that's it. Tsuji is expected to come in 2022-23 in Europe. Prepare your train in 5 years and I'm in.

Haha I'm 19 been balding since 17 just save as much money as possible, it's still not as good as those fuckers that won't start balding for another twenty years and will be able to get this procedure for a few thousand but it's better than nothing at this point but their expected release was in 2020 when clinical trials were 2019 you don't think their release could potentially be 2019 now?

No because they have to go through 2 phases of human trials, safety and then efficiency, 2020 is definitely possible if they are still on schedule or a little bit ahead. But 2019 is just not going to happen.

Also something to keep in mind is that March of 2019 is technically the last fiscal month of 2018, so that could be what they mean by that. If this product meets its 2020 date that alone would be an absolutely incredible feat, but thinking it may release even beforehand is just wishful thinking. Best case scenario the release date moves from late 2020 to slightly sooner 2020.

This is what I was trying to say in the other Tsuji thread but people were freaking out over it. Sorry to be "negative" but this is the reality. I think people just don't know how all this works.

You can read about the stages of clinical testing here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phases_of_clinical_research

To summarize, it is a three to four phase process, each of which costs tens of millions of dollars and usually takes at least a year or more.

At this point, as far as we know, Tsuji hasn't even have a single replicated human follicle. Let alone a proven method to mass produce them. So he is nowhere near even beginning Phase 1-3 testing. He's still in the purely experimental and theoretical stage still.

Japan has tight regulations on drugs and medicine, as they are an advanced nation. It's not like he's running this enterprise in Columbia where he might be able to skip all that regulatory testing.

I can't see how any commercially available form of this will be available before 2022. And that's IF he solves the hair cloning problem AND works out a method for mass production of them in the next year. Even that is a tall order to expect.

Then do you want to be one of the first guinnea pigs for lab created hair follicles? Will you feel confident knowing the processes he undertook to create those follicles (artificial multiplication and manipulation of stem cells) won't put those follicles at risk of becoming defective over time? Or developing into tumors or increasing skin cancer rates in the scalp?

Personally, I wouldn't let the technology touch my scalp until I saw at least 5 years of safety data from it.

Everyone should still be hitting topical/systemic antiandrogens and stimulants like minoxidil hard. If you think Tsuji gives you an excuse to get lazy and just let yourself go bald since he'll have a magic cure in a year or two you're nuts.

Saving when you're are learning how to be a responsible adult is super difficult. I had set aside 6000 pounds to fund my escalation to Tsuji heaven and suddenly I have absolutely nothing due to some unforeseen circumstances.

The future may look bright but that's only because my scalp will be reflecting all the sunlight, cause even if Tsuji starts working his magic in 2020 I'll still be too poor to afford a trip to Japan let alone the procedure.

Well this is where I take the other side because Japans new laws do allow procedures like this to come out after or sometimes even during Phase II testing. That's what's happening with Shiseido right now, they are running a phase II test to release their product onto the market as soon as next year. So yes the trials do take a while but instead of having to do 3 or 4 of them, they only need to do 2. 1 for safety and 1 for effectiveness. So it is definitely possible for this to come out in 2020 assuming everything goes well.

Well I never had a chance to taste the nw0 hairline. I was always norwood 1,5, but to be honest it fitted me greatly. Probably more than norwood 0. Norwood 2 at 19 and norwood 3 at 21. Ain´t gonna wait 3 years worrying about my hair. I am done with that. I left school, job, sold motorbike and told farewell to dog, family etc. and moved to Scandinavia for 10 months to save money. Either on Hair transplant or if the almighty brotzus lotion will come out I will donate part of the money and use the rest on my own business. Do you use any treatment man?

Do you know what the duration would have to be for safety?

For example, there are companies like New Eyes Laser who have developed tech to change iris color (eye color). But they say regulatory bodies have required them to submit at least 3 years of safety data for approval in America.

I'm surprised Japan would be more lax on this.

Regardless, there is still the reality that Tsuji has not even cloned a single human hair follicle yet (that we know of), so it's all theoretical.

Just spironolactone Cream since finasteride gave me too many side effects.

I don't think they have to submit anything like this or Tsuji would've never gave us a 2020 date with his clinical trials taking place in 2019, anybody wanna look up some similar methods companies are doing in japan and see if they needed to submit this kind of data?

Start a gofund, who knows maybe people will have sympathy for people like us who never really will/have been able to enjoy their prime years because of this disease, kind of doubt they would care, I can just see the comments "So what just shave it off, it's not bad compared to cancer!"

Good. Stabiliziation is the key. It gives you time for some new treatment to pop up. What norwood are you?

I would say about 2.5 so it's at least a tad aggressive, I really hope companies like Replicel, Histogen, Brotzu, and all run out of business if Tsuji works out, they deserve it for f*****g over countless amounts of people.

My problem is hairloss. I absolutely want to solve it but not through sympathy, not when the same funds could be used for people needing organ transplants, cancer treatments, etc.

I am too pissed off by the time it takes, but at least those companies are bringing some light on our problem. Replicel ( I trust more Shiseido) looks good in stopping the hairloss. Histogen lost me the day they released the combover pictures, but it may work. Tsuji will be basically hair transplant with unlimited donor area. For people with dupa no help and AA would be fucked up too. But what the hell did you said about our Lord and Savior saint Brotzu and his holy grail? You wanna some brotzusade, boy? We wouldn´t be the first one religion from Italy, which would go to destroy someones land, because he did not support our boss :D Now for real. I trust the lotion. Not the company producing it. And having something working for all alopecia suspects would be great.
