Hmm...why would a country that is only concerned with "self defense" build amphibious assault and aircraft carriers? Oh, and build military bases 7000 km from her border - in Africa. Who said I was "looking to" the Japanese "for help?" I never believed in Tsuji, and have always said Follica would be first to market long before anything else. That being said, I have nothing but respect for the Japanese, but their biotech industry is garbage, and always has been. They make great cars, TVs, and have a very interesting and admirable culture, but Japanese biotech - and indeed, clinical medicine as well - is terrible.
As to me being bright or not, what do you have to base that assumption on? Because I'm a "racist?" So was just about ever white male before 1955 or so - were they all stupid? Copernicus? Rousseau? Smith? Newton? How about Watson? Edison? In fact, everything I've written suggests I'm far from stupid, at least when it comes to International relations; my grasp of Chinese culture, behavior, and its threat it poses to Asia and the world is far more sophisticated than anything you've offered - does that mean you're stupid?

Your life will be as you want it to be. It sucks to go bald but it's not the end.
Of course no one knows anything, but this only serves to feed the pessimist that everything has gone to sh*t, without knowing anything. I don't know what can happen but if Tsuji had failed there would be no new director. and advisor for something that has failed? I don't think it's bad news but time will tell.
