In this article (2016): https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Kyocera-to-join-hair-regeneration-research-project

Is mentioned:
The trio aims to begin human clinical studies by 2020.“
and:
„If the research proceeds as planned, Kyoto-based Kyocera hopes to launch a business in 2020 acting as a contract manufacturer for medical institutions. Kyocera's planned business model is to receive scalp tissue from the clinic, process it over the course of around three weeks, and then return the propagated hair follicles back to the clinic.“

So back in 2016 there was a Plan to conduct human clinical trials in 2020 and commercialization so i assume a little chance to see Tsuji on the market this year.

The safety trial must be over so I am very disappointed of Organ technologies not giving us an update, whether the treatment is safe and what is the timeline...

I emailed Organ Technologies, RIKEN and Kyocera multiple times without getting serious answers.
Very disappointing. I know we will not see the product earlier on the market if we all contact them but maybe if we all write Organ Technologies, they will give us an official update and will bring some light in the darkness.
I would be happy if everybody who wants to know more about Tsujis timeline to write an E-Mail to:
info@organ-technol.co.jp

I am sure that our community is strong enough to force an serious official update of Organ Technologies about Safety trials and human trial plans.
Thank you all!
you are so right.I agree with you.at least we should do this,I'm sending my first email now .I'm tired of waiting.we need an explanation.we are not animals.we have the right to ask questions

It's some autocorrect function of the german Version of IE10 I havn't managed to turn off. I really don't appreciate being called idiot, especially over something so trivial. Also you have at least 2 grammar mistakes in your single sentence response...
Please enlighten me excluding the deliberate abbreviation?

What more can be known about Tsuji and Rikens treatment they have everything on their site we've given them an interview theyve tested animals and now they deem it worthy to test humans in 2020? The one question we need to know now is "Is it safe doing to humans?" I'd hope this would be fundamental to everyone's curiosity at this point and this is what they now in little over a half year I suppose will set out to retrieve an answer for .

f*** YEAH :D:)!! Shortly we will have international medical tourism to Japan, King Tsuji says <3

27th June 2019 (https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&sou...aw2OZ-jd4F48YxqLOZM7xBEG&ust=1561757057166441)

„As well as leading a research team on organ regeneration at the Riken institute, Takashi Tsuji is the director of Organ Technologies — a Kobe-based company specialising in the regeneration of “quality of life” organs such as hair follicles and teeth.

Dr Tsuji is aware of the commercial potential of this research in a country where a quarter of the population is over 65. He says one of the still untapped resources of Port Island is the adjoining airport that will shortly accept international flights. “With eight hospitals and Japan’s biggest biomedical cluster in one place, medical tourism is going to be very big in the future,” he says.“

f*** me, this got me so worried as well. Because what if those new rules in Japan only applied to Japanese people? Then we would have been totally fucked. Now it's very likely that Replicel will be available to us in 2-3 years as well.

if anyone actually expected trials to begin when they claimed, you're delusional. I'd bet $$ you can't find a single legit company that didn't delay (often significantly) trials / progress.

This has probably been asked earlier in the thread, but has there been any indication on what the price range for this might be? This is the sort of thing that you expect to be incredibly expenisve especially within the first few years, but I don't see any reason why they would make it any higher than 50k.

I just want to know if I can afford this now or if I have to rely on my shitcoins doing a bull run before this releases. I don't want to get my hopes up only to find out that it's a ridiculous price and I have to wait 2 decades before any kind of affordable cure/treatment is released.

Are you talking about €/$ or Yen?

considering a top transplant Doctor could charge close to 50K, I'd bet it's going to cost more than that if it proves to be as good as everyone thinks. I wouldn't be surprised if it's around 100K in the beginning, especially when Tsuji said it will be limited to a certain # of patients at first. Of course, all of this is conjecture considering we don't know if it will ever make it to market, or how effective it really is.

It’ll largely come down to technique . If by some f*****g miracle they could just inject all the cells and they position themselves into the correct direction it could be scaled easily and cheaply as there is no learning curve to surgeons . If it’s that nylon thread sh*t to position each cell then we better all get our houses ready to mortgage ...
