trying Toppik spray optimizer, question about front hairline

Hi

Im opting for the Toppik, Im trying it out for 30 days with the spray optimizer, so if it turns out to not be the one ill try something else.

will the spray optimizer help with my front hairline? I expect there will be instructions but could i spay it head on (excuse the pun) or do you spay downwards?

I kind of boof my hair up a little so where it is thin at the front Im hoping it will stop my hair looking transparent for the 1st 3inchs or so
