Both. You are receding and you have a true widows's peak. The tip of your widow's peak is actually where your juvenile hairline was. The widow's peak is considered a remnant of your juvenile hairline.

Yes both as house said...raise your eyebrows and wrinkle your forehead, your hairline should be just above the top wrinkle.

Well, sh*t. Could you tell me more about the receding from the pics? Like, slow or agressive, stuff like that.

Aggressive. You should start taking Finasteride ASAP.

Don't be like me and wait years before you start treatment. That is definitely male pattern baldness and it will only worsen if you don't start taking the medication.
See your family doctor/dermatologist and get them to write you a prescription.

Living up to your name, Quickstrike. Thanks for the honesty.

Anyone else on the same opinion as him?

Compare those pics with older ones. Like when you were a child or couple of years ago. That should give you the answer.

Compre old pics to now. I bet your widows peak is not where your hairline once was, it most likely started about an inch before it. Yet your hairline does look like it has receded so id suggest you look into treatment.

Alk's right, I don't think my hairline has ever been exactly where my widow's peak is. Looking at older pictures as a child I've always had a high forehead. Comparing hairline to photos from last year and a couple years ago, I can't objectively tell. I'll upload a couple tho, tell me what do you think. First one is from around march 2016 and the second one is in a professional studio, around november 2015 I think. Not really much time apart but I don't have many photos where you can properly see my hairline. So, what do you think?

Well, I'm not about to start rubbing stuff into my scalp or anything like that. I'm willing to consider pills, I guess, if they have no major side effects. What would you recommend?

IMO you seem to just have a really high hair line, have you noticed a lot of shedding or something? You may just have a natural JUST f*** ME UP-tier hairline. Your hairline in the new pictures you posted kind of looks like mine... however I jumped on Finasteride because I noticed A LOT of shedding and saw that my temples were starting to thin out.

You can start finasteride, A very small percent of men get sny sides but there could be some concerning side if you do get them. Do a quick google search on finasteride. Im taking it right now and no sides.

Agressive. That's worse than mine at 19. Mine was bad.

If it's visible at 19, it's gonna be agressive. You can be sure of that.

It gets worse for agressive baldness for guys in their 20s.
