Hey folks,
I've been thinking about incorporating Avixis (estradiol) into my regimen. My main fear is that I'll grow bÃtch tits or what have you. I realize that it is mainly an aid for stopping hair loss, so I have no unrealistic expectations about regrowth - it's enough if it helps me keep what I have. It does seem to be the premium DHT blocker which is actually made by pharmaceuticals as opposed to scammy-oil companies.
It stands to reason that in terms of perception, it's harder to measure something that slows down hair loss than something that grows hair. Hair growth is easy to spot, whereas it's hard to tell if your rate of hair loss would have been faster if not for estradiol (unless we are talking about extreme rates of loss, or the controlled environment of a scientific study).
Is there any support to either positive or negative claims on topical estradiol (articles, studies, links, personal experiences)? If it's a product that works, why is it not sold in the US? Does anyone know if the FDA has even considered and rejected it?
Any input on side effects? Has anyone used it successfully??
Hope to hear from you and if I do have a go at it, will report on my results.
PS. I live in Mexico City, and Galaderma has made it available here under the brand name Avixis (previously, I think it's only been made available in countries like Argentina and Brazil, as well as in Europe). This may be useful for some of you, as I have seen posts from Americans who don't know where to buy it. Those of you who don't live far from the border can always take a short trip to stock up now, eh?
