I wouldnt worry about that, because DHT is almost useless after puberty it only plays a role in sperm production apparently, so you shouldnt worry, besides using that low dose once weekly in trichosol certainly wouldnt cause you any problems. even kevinman says DHT is a trash and useless hormone after puberty I almost fully agree with that statement.

using that low dose once weekly wont do sh*t for your hairloss, you need to up the dosage and use it at least twice weekly or even 3 times weekly.

Not sure if you're referring to dutasteride, or if this is even relevant, but I saw someone talk about how they started doing it 2x (orally) per week, and their DHT level was the same as when they tried for daily, and the retest was months later. So I feel it will likely work just as well 2x/week.

About gyno, zinc and cialis helped me as they block E2 mildly. Lose body fat below 12% and no dairy.

This will not only decrease your estrogen (mine went from 45 to 25) but also increase your LH and Test production to counteract side effects and lack of androgens induced by blocking 5AR. It will also increase your Progesterone which is vital to counteract neurosteroid inhibition (brain fog).

Anybody taking Finasteride should take steps to being lean , diet and supplementing Zinc to counteract

Hey man i recently got the topical dutasteride .1% from FUE clinic. ive heard you say that 2ml once a week is okay. Do you know how much 2ml is on the dropper they give you? It doesn’t have any labels so i just had to guess for the first time i used it.

Why blocking out dairy (i.e. what is the specific reason and is it proven?)

Also surely it's not healthy to use Cialis regularly unless you have erectile dysfunction? People can become dependent on that. How does it help to reduce estrogen anyway?

Finally did your gyno disappear or did you have to get it removed?

My concern about taking dutasteride even topically is that if it gets into the blood stream then because of the long half life it could be doing damage for a long time if side effects start...for example if you develop gyno on finasteride at least you can hopefully get off before the damage/growth is bad..but on dutasteride even if you stop your DHT levels are lowered for a long time. Another example is the effect on fertility..i recently saw a study where sperm count and quality in subjects was still much lower than baseline even 24 whole weeks after stopping dutasteride...that seems absolutely crazy to me in terms of risk level for anyone who may want kids in future.

Oral I believe.

However, I also saw that some when dustasteride mesotherapy was performed fairly regularly then it lowered fertility too (I think it is in 'hairlicioussly's' video on dutasteride mesotherapy). Again, my concern is that once fertility is lowered it doesn't seem to fully rectify even after half a year.

Increasing E2 will lower FSH therefor your sperm count so it makes sense that Dutasteride can decrease fertility.

You should not be using Dutasteride nor Finasteride if you want kids in the short term in the first place

For me it isn't necessarily short term but certainly but I definitely don't want to risk my fertility as kids in future would be good. The concern over dutasteride at least is that fertility didn't even recover fully after 24 weeks cessation of the drug. I wonder about what the risk from it topically too.

It took about 2-3 weeks for my increased nipple sensitivity to completely dissappear after stopping topical duta.

I dont think you can tell anything about fertility just by looking at semen. Needs analysis.

I believe existing hairs are thickening a bit, but too soon to tell for a cosmetic difference.
Maybe pretty much same on the baldness level, however from other and my personal anecdote, be prepared for a shed.

Why does everyone keep asking about sheds, if you shed the hair because of the reduction in dht they will come back thicker , if you shed the hair and they dont come back it means that duta is bad for your hair, which is unlikely

I went through the thread and couldn’t find too much info about this hence why I asked.

it seems like an important question since we’re desperately trying to avoid going bald if a treatment made it worse that would be bad.

I like to know what I’m getting into before starting a treatment.

I once used minoxidil at my hairline corners a long time ago and it shed quickly and never came back even after almost a year of use.
