Nizoral is primarily an anti fungal and anti inflammation shampoo. I've used for over a year and never had a shed... I'm by no means saying it isn't possible but highly unlikely. Nizoral is a subtle but generally helpful tool in fighting male pattern baldness.. Hope I helped
