I don't see any hairloss...
But if you do have it then and it's diffuse then:
1. Nizoral shampoo
2. Finasteride (Propecia = 1mg finasteride, Proscar = 5mg finasteride then you can cut it into 1/5 pieces)
3. Minoxidil (Rogaine foam)
Let's see your hair longer...I can kinda see a diffuse thing but it's hard to tell.
Plus - nice boner as someone mentioned LOL....

Man it's not a boner,the sort was just too tight :blush:
Some pictures of my mid-long hair,it's really hard to see the thin area here but the loss is concentrated in the front area starting from the red line :

-Do you think i should start taking minoxidil from the beginning ?
SE-Freak and Mj-9 advised me to stick with Finasteride and nizoral.

Dont' start minoxidil...your hais is looking good...i really don't see thinning but if it's there then Finasteride is a good start (Propecia = 1mg finasteride...Proscar = 5mg finasteride and you cut it into 1/5). Buy some Nizoral shampoo. Leave it on for 5mins and use it 3 times a week.
Maybe someone else can shine in on this?

So i've started taking finasterie since 1 month now,no side effects but i don't notice any excessive shedding neither (maybe 40-50 hear in the shower ).
Does it mean that the medic is not working for me ?

No mate. People expirence differnt types of shedding, if any at all. Keep going and from what people will tell you on here is atleast you are doing the best thing possible to keep what you have got. Regrowth is a bouns and you could get that in 3 months or in 1 year just depends.

I am so scared,after nearly one mounth of treatement i've lost almost half of my density in the front it's catastrophic and i don't see any new hair coming.
Is it normal ?

have you REALLY lost alot of density or is it just in your head
some people have a distorted self image, including myself
did you take good baseline pics?
use them as an reference to your loss in density

I've posted some pictures in the first page,i will update later and you will see that i really lost a lot of hair in the front,it's dramatic.
But i don't notice any excessive shedding,nothing in the pillow but lot of air in the shower.
Will it comme back ? Should i stop ?

Hi everyone,so i went to the doctor he prescribed propecia for me.
I started taking it almost 7 months ago.
For the first two or 3 months i was losing hair and then of 2 month it totally stopped,no shed,nothing,not a single hair in my hand in the shower.
Now i started losing heavily hair again in the shower,really strong loos.
I didn't notice any big thining for now but it may come because i am really losing huge amount of hair with no littre hairs growing back like you described.
What should i do ?
When do you take propecia,right bofore going to bed ?
Because i eat after taking the pill.
I will post some pics later.
