We all know what I mean and everybody has his own story of "life after hairloss".

We all know that there is not going to be a cure this generation, every breakthrough is gone with the wind or the progress is just 2 slow.

We all know that the only thing we have is to prevent it when it starts. The problem with this? Or it is already too late, or you get the sides, or it simply doesn't work or after some time it doesn't do it's job anymore.

We all know the stories of people that is not all about hair bla bla bla. The truth is they are simple probably still norwood 2 looking at the exceptions. In my whole life I never saw a 22 year old bald guy with a hot gf or being an alpha. There is a misconception about this, my experience tells me, no proofs me that young girls around 20 for example find a bald guy a major turn off, if they grow older ok they will look less at the looks but in their teens, yes they got more things being a major turn off for them, balding included.

Our luck is just very low it seems. In the end we all have to realize that hair loss only closes a lot of doors and even if we try to open them either 2 things are going to happen: 1. you simply can't open it or 2. the door shocks you.

Also I am pretty sure some people are going to tell me that I am too negative, but no I used to be very positive about this problem but time learned that there is nothing positive.

I suppose the majority of us here (me also) are afflicted with too much negativity in general. I'll spare you from my "chicken before egg" homily. If I am honest with myself, then retrospectively I must acknowledge that it's through my personal experiences ( merely my unique perspective), I have found my own hair loss hang ups to be yet another downstream symptom of what I will generally regard as my life before hair loss (or MLBHL),as a normal patterned anxious/depressed disposition. Discouragingly to this day my insecure temperament has never fully left me. So yes during the majority of my adolescence and early adulthood I was having a rough time finding my function or niche. I was understandably naïve and I was also intuitive to a fault and had an early talent for learning and critical analysis. To which probably helped foster my acute capacity to over internalize or even augment the diverse dramas erupting all around me. I am reluctant to attempt to speak for anyone else, but for me, I acknowledge that 2Young's take on it is on the mark. Hair loss is highly visible and like a sparring, toothless and cheeky enemy who steps in your space and/or face, our first reflex is to swing at it . Our feelings are as real as the things we care to value. I am open to the possibility that my worries or grievances over my hair loss are an further extension of the fearful child in me.

Most men don't look good bald, regardless of head shape or whatever. Most men don't have bodies that look like something straight out of the movie '300' to offset their balding. Then, there's the select few men who are just plain old, no homo, hot... regardless of how much hair they have on their head. Their face looks like it was chiseled out of marble, and they have the physique worthy of magazine covers so getting women to notice them is as easy as wearing a tight t-shirt. Since, 98% of us don't fall into that category we have to live with the reality of what is. An attractive young women is going to pick a guy with hair over a balding guy -- unless he's in the small minority I just mentioned. It's not even her fault really. It's a biological trait that triggers in her brain. Good hair signals youth and virility, and thus makes for a better mate because he will produce healthier offspring to ensure the survival of the species.

ID, your vocabulary is very impressive. You definitely are very poetic in your writing skills. You do remind me of myself for me some reason. This post is not far off from my own issues.

whats your Norwood?

I don't really know, kinda a weird pattern that I don't really understand. But looking at the Norwood scale a Norwood 2.5, this doesn't look like it is a big of a deal but it is because people notice my receding hair and well mixing it with my age...

btw did you start with propecia/finasteride?
