Sorry for another post but I could do with some real life advice please. So as previously discussed my hairline lifts after a few days luckily I have an unexposed hairline at moment but going forward it would be nice to have options. my question is if I want to redo the bond on the front.
How do I clean the old glue off without taking the whole system off? Or can I just clean it with alcohol do another coat of bond and stick it back down?

Hi Craig. The easiest way is to flip up your hairline area, get some cotton wool, and dab a ball of it on the old glue. It will stick to the glue, and then you should be able to rub the glue/lint amalgam off in big boogers. Then just give the lace a clean with an alcohol wipe, and you should be good to go.

Ok I will try that. As it is only 3 or 4 days old would it be worth heating it up and seeing if it would rebond?

That doesn't sound like it would give a good looking result. I don't think the glue would be deactivated by heat.
