Hi all. Have noticed a very slow thinning of my behind my left temple for some years now. To this date i still cannot see any thinning on the right and my crown is solid.

I took these pics with slightly damp hair about an inch long.

I am 35 and not on treatments. Just wondering how you guys think i will fair in years ahead?

Also why is it still confined to the left side even though its been going on for many years?

You can't tell anything with your hair combed forward. Be brave and slick that fringe back and expose the whole hairline.

Heres a few wet ones. My hair goes everywhere when I comb it back. Doesnt look very good though I guess i have to bite the bullet or go bald. Dad was already bald at my age guess im lucky i got a bit longer.

Couple of hairline. Always had an m shape to it. Wide angle lens is making it look more receded though. The centre of my hairline comes right down to my top forehead wrinkle so i believe i have some sort of persistent forelock as it seems totally unaffected.

Couple outside in the light. Can just see scalp on my left side. Crown and right seems fine. Looks like its either finasteride or baldness tbh.

Yeah this is concerning. Definitely some lack of density in there. I would start treatment to at least prevent further loss, perhaps add rogaine to the problem area.

Most men tend to recede more on the right side than the left. You just are doing the opposite. Does not look bad for your age. No one can predict if it will stay like that for a few decades or get worse. I started on finasteride with less recession than that. It all depends on if you really care if you lose more hair or not.
